ABOUT US

VINAMERICAS was founded in 2004 by David Bernad, a former management consultant, technology executive, and a Columbia University engineering and economics graduate. Mr. Bernad was born in Huesca, a small town in northern Aragón (Spain) but moved to the United States in 1991. Before immersing himself in the wine industry, David worked for the prestigious management consulting firm Mitchell Madison Group in New York City, where he participated in a wide variety of finance and technology assignments for Fortune 500 corporations.

After founding and growing the Miami International Wine Fair to become the largest wine trade show in the country, Bernad established VINAMERICAS to represent a group of extraordinary wine producers from Spain. Since then, VINAMERICAS's portfolio and distribution network have expanded to include hundreds of quality brands from around the world and over 80 wholesale partners in 46 states, the Caribbean and South America.

VINAMERICAS is headquartered in Miami, Florida with offices in Spain and warehousing facilities in New Jersey, Los Angeles and South Florida.
