ABOUT DESTINATION FRANCE
Destination France is a newly-developed line of fine wines from France's Bordeaux region sold in 250ML cans to appeal to customers seeking an easy-to-carry, environmentally-friendly, and unbreakable single-serve package. Destination France wines are fresh, crisp, fruit-driven wines to be enjoyed outdoors (beach, picnic, poolside, etc.) as well as indoors (BTG restaurant programs, single-drinker households, etc.)
ABOUT PRODUCTA VIGNOBLES
Born in the aftermath of World War II, Producta Vignobles was created by the merger of several smaller cooperatives with the goal of improving the quality of the wines and protecting the interests of the smaller grape growers. In 1960 the group brought AOC Bordeaux wine to large retailers in France, making quality wine available to all French households. Committed to quality production, Producta obtained its ISO9001 certification in 1990 and in 2010 pioneered the “Agri Confiance” label which guarantees responsible and sustainable agricultural practices.
ABOUT IGP ATLANTIQUE
The IGP Atlantique region covers a vast area of vineyards surrounding Bordeaux but not including the area’s AOCs. IGP’s requirements are not as strict as those from Bordelaise appellations, but they still offer a guarantee of quality and style far superior to the basic “Vin de France” designation. The climate here is definitively maritime, with the Atlantic Ocean providing both warmth in winter and cooling influences in summer. Long, sunny summers make for good ripening conditions and gentle sea breezes bring movement and freshness to the vineyards.
