ABOUT BODEGAS MURVIEDRO
Bodegas Murviedro was founded in 1927 by the Schenk group. The winery is still owned by the same family and maintains the values of a family business. The philosophy of the company is based on combining the most advanced winemaking techniques with grapes from traditional vineyards, applying viticulture with minimal intervention and respectful of the environment. The result is wines that express the typicality of the terroir and that also meet the highest international quality standards.
ABOUT VALENCIA
Valencia is a Spanish Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP) with a very long winemaking history (since 500 BC) which is divided into two separate zones and four sub-zones, each of which produces a different type of wine. The region's wine portfolio has been spread across various styles including easy drinking reds, whites and rosés, hefty doble pasta reds and fortified moscatels. However, Valencia's wine style has revolved around rich, fruit-driven reds made from both indigenous varieties like Bobal and Monastrell.
